#SWITCHOFFANDLISTEN #UGASIISLUŠAJ is an awareness-raising campaign about marine biodiversity and the impact of noise on marine habitats, initiated as an artistic residence in Croatia with LAB852 during the third year of Magic Carpets. One of the final results of the project was an audiovisual installation that spread sounds recorded on the seabed in the small town of Jelsa: the intention was to create awareness about marine sound pollution. For the exhibition in Aveiro, the entrance hall of Teatro Aveirense was transformed into a seabed, creating an immersive atmosphere, through sounds and lights, inspiring a reflection on the important topic of underwater sound pollution.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Zagreb and the Tourist Board of Jelsa.
