Kobayashi2001 is a live audiovisual performance composed by real-time live coding sound and audio-reactive visuals. It explores a non-linear narrative using images and sounds captured in the physical world. Searching for their artistic and expressiveness, we use these digital recordings from our daily experiences as raw material for the performance.
We use Supercollider and Ixilang for music composition and VDMX and Resolume for video editing.
The idea is to explore environments capturing images and sounds to promote the memory of the place. The performance represents the everyday life in urban context showing our personal interpretation of the city´s sounds and visual landscapes.
